Panu Aree is a film industry professional with more than 20 years of experience spanning film distribution, rights acquisition, film production, and film business management. He has held key positions in the Thai film industry, including Director, Production & Distribution at M Studio, Head of Film Licensing Management at Neramitnung Film Co., Ltd., and Director of Acquisitions at Sahamongkolfilm International Co., Ltd.

In addition to his extensive experience in the film business, Panu has served as a guest lecturer at several universities and has continuously contributed articles and written works on cinema and the film industry. His areas of expertise include the Thai and international film industries, film and documentary production, film distribution and rights management, as well as audience behavior and film marketing strategies in the digital era.

As a filmmaker, Panu has directed both documentary and feature films that have been screened at various international film festivals. His notable works include The Convert, Baby Arabia, Gaddafi, and The Cursed Land, which received the Best Horror Film Award at the Winter Film Festival 2025.
